You wont have heard of Costa unless you're from the UK. Anyway Starbucks is better imo

Costa because Starbucks never puts marshmallows on my hot chocolate. :( They don't understand me like Costa.

Since I don't drink coffe I can't say anything about it.
I prefer Starbucks' hot chocolates and winter menus, but Costa has a wider range of cold drinks, they actually do Ice Tea vs Starbucks having Juice Blends with a little tea in, Plus who can resist a Creamy Cooler from Costa?! :P The food in Costa is also the best, hot or cold, they do GIANT CUSTARD CREAMS, JAFFA CAKES AND BOURBONS DAMMIT! Plus Costa has opened up a drive through less than a mile away from where I work, I can get their stuff on the way home now, or at the out of town shopping centre 10 minutes away or from the 2 in town versus the single Starbucks in town that is meant to cover the whole area... Also for whatever reason I can't get a Starbucks loyalty card? There is one apparently but no employee or the website has been able to help me...
So yeah, Costa for the win.

I have never heard of Costa before
I don't drink coffee (somehow I end up getting sick every time I drink it), but I do enjoy their teas and now smoothies

Starbucks is a disgrace to coffee and tea, so even though I have no idea what it is, I choose Costa

Like a lot of people here I've never even heard of Costa. Where does the chain exist? I've never seen one in Canada.

I can have really good coffee at my own house so I don't really drink stuff from other places.

It's UK based, don't think its anywhere else apart from the UK actually

I know for sure that they have them in China- I researched UK companies in China for A-Level Business with Costa being one, they had some really pretty cakes they were advertising for the spring- and Cyprus, my boyfriend went to one on holiday, they apparently did an amazing Mint Chocolate creamy cooler. According to Wikipedia (so take this with a pinch of salt), they operate in the UK, Ireland, the Channel Islands, Spain, Malta, South Asia, China, the Middle East, and Central and Eastern Europe, with over 1,100 branches in 30 other countries in May 2014. So I think it is just North America that either doesn't have them or has very few outlets...

I don't drink coffee so I don't go to either.

But Starbucks opened a store where a music store I liked used to be.

So I vote Costa since they haven't smashed any of my dreams.
