We don’t know for sure. They did rerun some Splatfests after new content ended in Splatoon 2. I could see them doing that with 3 with both Splatfests and Big Run. Hopefully that’s the case but we won’t know for sure until later on.

The best part is we doubled the 700,000,000 eggs quota! Definitely was fun despite my relying on freelancer rooms lmao, lots and lots of crew wipes 
Big Run was really fun! I kinda regret that I did not grind more scales but I already have everything that I wanted the most from the store so no big deal.
Now I'm really curious how much of an impact, if any at all, will the existence of the Big Runs have on the lore. Salmonids backstory pretty please?

Now that the Grand Festival is over I’ve recently started to get into TableTurf. I dabbled in it a little at launch but now I’m giving it an honest go and it’s fun. I highly suggest trying it out if you haven’t yet or maybe giving it a second shot.

It really reminds me of the amiibo concerts from Splat 1! They let you see Callie and Marie as well as Inkopolis as if it was splatfest again but you could choose any of their songs (at the time) instead of just City of Color!
I know this thread was maybe garnered toward the game itself but I keep seeing this pop-up on my feed and I wonder if any other people would love to own these:
I really love the white ones. I'm not too big on wearing game merch but the design is pretty sleek without feeling too geeky, lol. Even the shoebox would be cool to keep. They even did the Side Order version!

While my intention of this thread was to discuss the games any Splatoon related talk is more than welcome.
Those shoes really look awesome. I’d totally wear them if my feet didn’t require special supportive shoes.
There is a random Salmon Run rotation coming up this weekend on Marooner’s Bay! It is just a normal random rotation so regular weapon pool plus a chance at getting a Grizzco weapon if you’re lucky.

Not sure if anyone on here still cares about or plays Splatoon 3 (other than me that is haha) but I wanted to share a really big achievement that’s been a long time in the making.
I’m a big fan of the Salmon Run mode and it’s the mode I primarily play in the game. A dream of mine was to one day earn top 5% in Eggstra Work. Which is one of hardest things to do in Salmon Run.
I remember the very first Eggstra Work kicked my butt. I struggled to even clear nevermind getting a good score. I’ve greatly improved my skills in the last couple years however and in the last 5 Eggstra Work events I was between 2 and 11 eggs shy of making the top 5%. Just not quite good enough.
Finally, last weekend I got the team of people I play with together. Thankfully we all had good availability, and the weapons all suited each of us to our strengths. After we managed to crank out a good score on Sunday we were in good shape to make it, but no guarantees until the results came out.
Well the results came out aaaaand…
We did it!!! I am so happy right now that all that hard work finally paid off.

I play somewhat regularly but usually stick to anarchy battles. Congrats on your achievement, that's extremely impressive. I did some eggstra work in this event but had a hard time even managing to fully clear all of the rounds on most of my attempts let alone get a good score. Wish I also had someone to play with besides just randoms, that must help.
Glad I’m not the only one around here who still plays at least from time to time! I am pretty terrible at Anarchy so I suppose we all have our thing we are good at and not so good at haha.
Congrats on clearing Eggstra Work in Freelance though that really is tough. I’ve only been running with a group for the last 3 Eggstra Work events and it definitely helps. Still pretty challenging though.
