Probably would have been better. Your gripe is that because you tt'd, that you may have lost out on campsite villagers you may have wanted to add to your island. You then go to say you feel like you're being conned because of it, and that you don't want to have to spend money to get what you want. You continue by saying that even though you could bring the villagers in yourself for free with NFC, that you'd prefer to spend money on Etsy to get them.

Nothing about this thread makes sense, and again, I feel like you're just seeking attention for a mistake you may have made by TT'ing. Just my two cents.

Don't worry about things you can't change and aren't sure if even happened or not.

If there's a villager you're really after, save up some tickets or checkout the forum here for villager sales. There's often giveaways of great villagers that otherwise get voided.

Nah you shouldn't spend anything. Buy turnips for bells, ask someone cycling villagers for a favourite, and items are tradeable. Relax, the game doesn't have a deadline.

I haven't bought any amiibos and don't plan on it (unless they make figurine-type amiibos for villagers I love, which sounds unlike at this point). I'm sure you don't have to either, there's lots of people on this forum who can use their amiibo cards to help you get the villagers you want.

Regarding the Facebook bells ads, just be careful. They're not a Nintendo thing, they're just random people selling their IGB. I'm not even sure if that's against Nintendo's ToS or not. Either way, you can buy IGB for TBT on here, which I did.

Hey! if there are any villagers you’re looking for, I have most of the amiibo cards except for these. I have only one spot available that I can cycle atm, but I TT so it shouldn’t be much of a problem.

there is no need to ever spend irl money to get villagers in this game. lots of people on this website are kind and will either give away popular villagers for free or cycle them out for others at a reasonable IGB or tbt price.
