I stopped caring once they started mother 3..
the battery died on the earthbound cartridge, it didn't break, technically... or, I would think of breaking as "broke in half" or "unplayable". the game still operated... it just lost the save file chugga had going. which is a shame, since he played it halfway through really quickly.
I lol'd reading the comments on the grinding in mother.
and something or another about the flying pikachu event on one of the commentator's pokewalker, i think.
