Speculation: What do you think the second summer update will include?

I think fireworks are definite since the artwork at the end of the trailer had fireworks in it and those festivals have always happened in August.

I'm hoping minigames comes back with Tortimer and Kapp'n but that's looking unlikely. Otherwise I'd like to see Brewster.

I'm hoping for the return of festivals - they were one of the things I looked forward to in New Leaf. Really liked fireworks and the little gifts that Isabelle would hand out.

I am hoping for a Cranny extension, probably firework / festival themed stuff. I hope to get more kimonos and other Japanese summer festivities accessories !

The game was likely prematurely released. They fell behind schedule, especially due to COVID-19. They could have delayed the game another year just to put everything in at launch. Though would you have liked that?

Yes.

I would have preferrent a fully finished game, rather than these drip fed updates.

I bought a physical copy with half the content missing.

really, it's almost certainly just the usual case of nintendo having been too ambitious for their own good

Or any software development team ever (I work in tech, nothing is ever done by the time the devs say it will be - you either release with bugs or delay, neither of which customers like)

Brewster will almost certainly be in late autumn / winter, or at least that's my guess.
Next update I'm hoping for dreamsuite, I seriously need it, tired of constantly redoing my entire island, need to go get some inspiration.
