i’ve been trying to find the stone-and-iron fence diy from the nook miles shop, so i’ve been TT-ing back and forth a day for about two hours and have managed to find every fence diy at least twice EXCEPT the stone-and-iron fence, which hasn’t appeared once! is this normal?

i've been looking for the rope fence diy for weeks personally..... i only remember seeing it once and that was near the beginning when i was strapped for miles so didn't get it
all the other ones come up fairly frequently, including the stone & iron one, so im guess its either random and we're both unlucky or its tied to the individual game in a similar way to other nook miles items, just in terms of rarity rather than outright avaliability of colours like the furnature items

Oh huh coincidentally I actually bought an extra rope fence by accident weeks ago and its just been sitting on my floor, do you want it?

i was on the lookout (& still am) for the regular stone fence DIY and never stumbled across it once while tt'ing for it, whereas i ran across stuff like the zen fences multiple times in the span of a few days. this might just be super bad luck or something, since they don't really seem to have affixed variations to a player but ... it's just weird? like, do these fences have a certain type of hidden rarity?

The vertical-board fence was the one that eluded me for a while and I ended up just trading for it to complete my DIYs faster. The stone-and-iron fence pops up pretty often for me (along with the zen fence and lattice fence) and I can gift it to you when I see it next if you want!
it would have to be the ones we want that aren't coming up lol...... i mean it probably is a bias of noticing we cant find the ones we want as cloudmask says but after weeks this game should give us a break darnit

I need the spiky fence, stone fence, straw fence and vertical board fence. No pressure if you don't have any of those though!
alas i dont, though i do have a spare 50-bundle of the stone fence if thats of any use?

well if youre sure, i can keep an eye out for the diys!! might be a good idea to keep some in reserve anyway if it really is skewed per player....... should i send you a dodo code or do you want to send me one? i dont mind either way lol so whatevers most convenient to you!
