South facing rivers

Hello!
I am looking for inspiration of south facing river islands. I have one and I am struggling to find what to do with my island on the sides of the rivers. Please show me pictures of what you have done with your islands.
I don’t have nintendo online at the moment so I can’t dream of towns but if you know any videos please share those too.

hi! I haven't worked on the sides of my rivers yet, but I do have a map with the double south rivers. I mainly wanted double south as a challenge for this island, but the major thing I wanted was a specific starter. I did end up getting the jock I wanted with double south rivers, so that was good.
All this to say, when I eventually do more with the rivers, I'll keep you updated and share pictures. It's an island inspired by my favorite book series, Redwall, which has a river mentioned often called The River Moss. I wanna do something good with my rivers, just not too sure what yet.
I'm adding this sort of nothing comment so I can remember to share images. Because if I don't comment and watch this thread, I Will Forget.

I'm not sure if you mean south facing rivers as in islands with multiple south facing rivers or multiple islands with at least one south facing river, but here's what I did with my singular one

Yes, I mean two south facing rivers on islands because they creat these really awkward slivers of land.
