Does anyone on these boards enjoy Soul Calibur?
The second game is one of my favorites, and it took a bit for 6 to grow on me but I've been spending a lot of time with it recently. I've been trying to teach my roommate how to play fighting games, and Soul Calibur seems to click with him easier than the others. After taking the time to get into the game's systems more, I definitely think this is the most fun Soul Calibur in a long time, even if the menus are janky and there's next to no single player content.
If this thread sparks your interest, the game is currently on sale on the PlayStation store. There's a bit of DLC, including 2 unreleased characters, one of which was revealed yesterday, but if you don't want to play as those characters you can simply opt not to buy them.
