Sonic the Hedgehog General Discussion

speaking of the chao, I almost have one raised up to become one of the immortal special ones in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle

My friend has a garden full of very advanced chaos. I think some of them are immortals, but I'm not sure.

Oh mu gosh! I love the little guys! One time, I tried to breed all the chaos off the cover; I got the neutral and Devil ones good, just not the Hero one...

I raised a devil chao with a hero character once. I guess Sonic's bouncing on him constantly made him bad to the bone.

You mean, you abused him?! CHAO ABUSE!! He won't reincarnate because he's so unhappy!

It's really frustrating, carrying around devil chaos. You can give them all the love and attention in the world, but they will always squirm in your grasp.

Nor will my Tails Chao. Course, he's also immortal and can't actually die.. so... I've kinda taken to beating on him with everyone that can.

Melody is the only one that never gets abused. She's to become all three of the 'God' chao once she's able to do so.[chao cloning ftw!]

Also, I -may- have petted the chao with a dark character a bunch of times before sonic took over raising it.

Hey, my choa lord of the underworld hasn't been abused. He was supposed to be a Shadow chao.. unfortunately he was messed up by the fact that he's a two-tone chao. I didn't realize that until he entered his adult stage. STill looks pretty cool though.

CHAO ABUSER YOU ARE A HORRIBLE CARETAKER

Lol, I can now imagine a law being put in the Sonic the Hedgehog's world's constitution stating that Chao abuse is illegal. And now whenever I see the sad adoption commercial I'll think of them all as chaos, XD

I loved the chao raising but it's pretty... bland. There's so much that could make it better.

-More chao per garden. I have 6 memory cards and I still feel like I'm too limited with chao raising.
-More activities to do with them. Now that I'm older it's just... really boring to watch them wander aimlessly.
-Chao actually having lifespans. I can breed Chao? Great. But there's only 8 chao per garden so within 4 generations (and that is only if each generation only has one child and I bring another in to be the new chao's mate) I'm full up and can breed no further. If chao aged and died (which they can do... if you're completely horrible at raising chao considering that if you raise them decently they will end up reincarnating), then there'd be a reason for me to want to breed them. Chao genetics are actually very fascinating but I'll never get to test them myself because I don't release chao and my chao always reincarnate.
-Chao being either male or female to help with the above.
-MOAR ANIMALS.

Actually I've typed up how I'd want a game that focuses on only chao raising multiple times. I'm just too tired to go into it right now. Plus it's my birthday so myeeeh you get general ideas.

Also I don't care about 'chao abuse'. It's that person's game. They can treat their 1s and 0s however they wanna treat them. Would I abuse a chao? Heck no. I can't even be evil in Fable III without feeling horrible. But people can play games however they want to play them. That's how games work.

I've gotten several transparent chao from breeding myself, though the transparent chao was a failed breeding attempt[that I ended up breeding for more of and stored the extras on a second card.. which has, since then, been lost.

One of my transparent chao has a skull on his head and I've gotten him walking upright, with no feet. Possessed Skull chao ftw!

Knuckles sucks. He's constantly getting tricked by Eggman. I'm kidding, Knuckles is in my top 5 list.

1. Scourge
2. Sally Acorn
3. Tails
4. Cosmo
5. Knuckles

I could easilly take my list to top ten.. but I'm not going to do that.

I still have a soft spot for the games, and really enjoyed Generations--the last title I played--but Lost World was a bust. I couldn't stomach the lazy stage design and uninteresting, recycled mechanics from the past three games. Sonic 2, SA2, and Sonic 4 Episode 2 are some of my favorites. I've since migrated to Archie Sonic, as the writing and character development is superb and something Sonic Team has no real skill in.

Since jinjiro mentioned some characters, I might as well too. My favorite Archie characters are probably Bunnie, Sally, Lupe, Mina, and NICOLE, and Geoffrey St. John, just to name six.

If I were to limit myself to characters from Archie Sonic comics my list would change to be as follows:

1. Scourge the Hedgehog
2. Sally Acorn
3. Bunnie Rabbot
4. Espio the Chameleon
5. Tails 'Miles' Prower
6. Uncle Chuck
7. Boomer
8. Nicole
9. Sonic the Hedgehog(yup, he's really this far down the list lol)
10. Miles Prower(Anti-Tails)

With the fact that the iOS remake of Sonic 2 now includes the Hidden Palace Zone, I'm really in the mood to play Sonic 2 again, Which is a good thing because it was my favorite Sonic game of the 90's, Sonic Adventure's bizarre mouth animations and story was bloody hilarious when I was younger.

But Sonic Battle still keeps a place in my heart.

The series changed a lot after the Adventure games and I lost interest after Sonic '06 (which is actually a pretty good game to me)
If you put aside the glitchy gameplay and Silver, It wasn't a half bad game and I enjoyed it too.

Sure is windy today...

Started to hate Sonic Classics because of Sonic exe creepy pasta
Weak! The "game" based on it was so horribly done and Creepypastas are just generally fake anyway.
