"Due out later this year, Songs of Solitude will feature romantic melodies from Brazil, Spain, and Russia. Track list coming soon."

It's gonna be a night-and-day difference compared to the first one. A little more than 2 years have passed since I recorded Melodias Brasileiras, and naturally, I've gotten a lot better. I also composed some tunes since then, and made a lot of arrangements of jazz/bossa-nova melodies.

The CD will have classics like Spanish Romance and underrated gems like Luiza (by Jobim). In any case, it should be done by the end of next month.

I'll keep you guys posted on any and all developments. ;)

UPDATE 3:

The CD's tentative name is "Songs of Solitude"!

My second day at the studio went well, too. I got a few guitar duets recorded as well. So far, 7 tunes are done, with 8 or 9 more to go. Basically half-way there!

The track list will also be released in a day or two. :) Some tunes had to be cut, others were added at the last minute... some nice surprises too.

Still haven't gotten my Mp3's of your cd for being awesome. :P

I can't wait to get to hear more of your works.

Actually speaking of guitar, my uncle said he might get me a guitar and lessons some time this year. : D

Anyway, no reason to be embarrassed, it's all apart of getting better.

Retro Memory is a tune by a Japanese techno/jazz band called "capsule". It is really similar to the cooking navi tune. XD
Besame Mucho? First day buy.
Hehe, sounds good. :P

Yeah, I'm still deciding on the final track list, but it should be like 12 - 16 tunes.

Yes, actually. I gotta work out a few things in the arrangement, though, but I've got a few days to do that. ;)

Awesome! <3

Sweet, I really love the sound of Flamenco, and I've gotten REALLY into playing guitar as of late so I'd like to learn how to play some. Problem is I don't know where to start, any pointers?
