It's always been that way At least in my experience, unless I'm remembering it wrong.

Yep, bamboo was always stackable. I'd never let them grow in my town if they weren't. They're annoying as it is, as nice as I think they look.

Bamboo DOES look fairly nice in zen-themed towns, such as what I'm aiming for. Now if only Gruff would stop being stingy about PWPs...

i'm pretty sure it's always been that way like fruits. It's useful too if you're farming
