Someone please give me motivation

I re-create my town over and over again, and don't even get through the first few days (My plan is to start at a past day, and TTing day by day until I catch up to real-time.) whenever I do it, and I really want to unlock everything in advance and all that. Please help.

I do the same thing lol.... soooo hard not to time travel. I keep restarting my second town ... I just restarted and hoping I'll stick with it this time. If it helps I know I like to time travel in the beginning so I started 5 days before real time and promised myself not to time travel once I get to real time

Set yourself various levels of goals. Small goals, medium goals, large goals.

Small goals could be as simple as some minor landscaping projects, like your flowers or some trees. Another could be as simple as catching a new fish, bug or earning a number of Bells by the end of the day.

Medium goals could be getting a villager you want by the end of the week, or getting a certain furniture set.

Large goals are the goals you work towards for a long time, such as completing your museum and you work on these a little every day.

just be patient! it will pay off! however, if you really don't like playing the game maybe try something different?
