SOME people take this game way to seriously! The game doesn't seem very fun anymore..

Sorry but I had to explain something to everybody!
Back when NL came out everybody seemed to help each other and trade nicely some people still do this this way.
So im not blaiming the good peeps!
But now its all about having the best town,being rich and having your dreamies!
I had Robin move into my town once I didn't like her at first but over time I started to like her!
I don't have many Hybrids! So I just use the flowers around my town!
Nobody seems to share fruit and flowers to help people with their towns anymore its really upsetting!
To be honest I don't have millions of bells but still I have a few thousand I can live on!
So see? I just use what I have! I don't go around forcing people to give me things!

Sorry but I just had to say this it was just getting over my head way too much!

Btw I often give away fruits and I've given away hybrid pairs before to help people, so you can always ask people like me for help on the forums or in a PM. I personally enjoy helping others .

Yeah, I guess some people don't play nice, but that could go for anything! Many people on here have helped me and others a lot even to this day! I see what you're saying about people wanting to manipulate the game instead of just playing, I do it even though I wish I would just stop lol. I am kind of addicted to just TTing and stuff. I think anyone can play the way they want! I like that you have accepted villagers that you didn't like initially and just play as you go! I personally think that is the better way to play

I still don't understand why people treat Animal Crossing so seriously. I mean, it's a game. ABOUT ANIMALS! Hehe, but still. I like to just play the game without worrying about getting millions of bells, or hybrids and stuff. I'm still gonna go for my dreamies though.

I don't think I agree with you. Yes, SOME people may act the way you said but not ALL. Also, don't act so superuser that you don't follow "THE MAN". Really, a lot of people need a ton of bells to get the ABD (AN IN GAME COLLECTABLE) or they want to arrange a huge giveaway. Are they jerks? No.
Yes, some people are gonna obsess about the little things like TBT and such but it's not like they're hurting you.

I dont think it should matter how people play the game, as long as they enjoy it themselves. I mean, the definition of fun varies between each person, so yeah... I dont get annoyed if people want to play the game in a way I wouldn't enjoy. As for people being generous, there are still plenty of giveaways going around and people are still willing to help newer players. It's just that there are a lot of players who have had the game for a while now so they might be into completing their catalogues or getting millions of bells to get their dreamies to make their towns perfect. Again, just a different way to play than yours.

i agree with you 100% and i have noticed not many people open their gates for fun anymore! they are worried about others trashing their towns or their too busy blah blah blah... but it does upset me too! i open my gates for fun now and then but no one vists .-. why do i bother...

I personally disagree very much. Sure, there are some... not-nice people, but overall, the community is quite nice, especially with communities such as this one.

And with you saying "It's all about being rich, having the perfect town, etc. etc." that's actually kind of the whole point of the game. People do it because it makes them happy, and towns like that are wonderful to visit. I really don't see why you'd say people are taking they game too seriously, it's what makes them happy. Besides, it's their town, and it's not hurting anyone.

You can like villagers that move in, you don't have to be rich, we're not gonna criticize you for it, but please, please don't shove your opinion down our throats.

Yeah, I know. That's what I'm saying, but when you say your opinion in a provoking or offensive way, it's going to displease a lot of people.

The "SOME people" in the title has a tone that makes it feel like you're hinting at someone, and when you said "So see? I just use what I have! I don't go around forcing people to give me things!" it's in a tone that sounds like you're accusing nearly everyone on The Bell Tree.
