You don't commit at 14.
You can still commit at 14, or prepare to commit, commitmence doesn't always mean marriage it can also mean only being with that person and committing to always being with them.
It's still way to young though. >_>
I'd still consider 14 a child.....well in modern day now, most 14 year old girls think they're old enough to do as they want. Thank gawd I'm not like that.
IMO Puberty= Young Adulthood.
Well, IMO I don't think it's right for a 14 year old girl to be committing herself. Some 14 year old girls aren't even allowed to have a boyfriend, so forget committing. @.@
And plus, many girls that age aren't well educated on that subject. >_>

There's an Eight Grader Pregnant at my school. Yeah, I have a cousin who isn't too bad but can be snobby and annoying a lot...

I edited my post, Adulthood depends on Maturity, girls who are running around getting pregnant and thinking they're adults instead of getting a education aren't mature, a person who has a steady relationship but stays in school and manages to get to college is a Mature person. Today's Lesson: Use a Condom or Birth control, you don't want to give up on your dreams to take care of a baby at 14 do you?

It's still a very young age, though. Even if they are mature.

Maybe it's young to you but I don't think a persons age has anything to do with being an Adult, being an Adult means your mature, responsible, and able to take care of yourself and a family if you get one by going through school and getting a good paying job.

You can be mature, sure. But there is still a difference.
So, because a 10 year old is mature, she can go committing herself?

10 is a little to young because they're still a child unless they are already going through puberty, Puberty is natures way of calling you a growing adult Puberty is like a cacoon for butterfly, a Catipillar being the child, a cacoon being the Teenager and the catipillar going through the change called puberty, and the butterfly being the adult.

I find it to young. I'm sorry, but the idea of a 14 year old committing herself, and that being okay, is scary.

I think today's standard's and society are what make so many people believe that it's too young, try looking at it at a biological and psychological point of view.

Your obviously not, think of it this way, Nature wants us to reproduce, Puberty allows us to reproduce.

Hmmm.....I'm thinking late bloomers. o.O
And even if you've gone through puberty, it dosen't mean you're still fully grown.

I don't understand what that means exactly, I actually started puberty when I was 10-11 Hard to remember exactly, But I remember my personality and my looks drastically changing Child= Childish, Adult= Mature. And at your edit, I actually am fully grown, i'm taller than both of my parents, my voice is deeper than a 20 year olds, I have hair almost everywhere on me, and I try to think about responsibility and how i'm going to raise my family, I already have my whole future planned out ahead of time so I don't get girls pregnant at 14 and spend all my money on stuff I don't need.

Some girls haven't gone through puberty at 14. A late bloomer is someone that is late at blooming [puberty] Some girls haven't completely grown at age 14.

Like I said before Adulthood depends on Maturity and Puberty, those girls who are late bloomers I consider Children.

I don't have a problem with underage sexual contact, I think people should only do it with someone they plan on commiting to and only when they're ready.

So you think its right to have sex with a girl or a guy at age 14 0_o wt*

Yes I would have sexual relations with my gf who is 14, Sex doesn't just have to be sex you know it can be a way for two individuals to show they're love for each other.
