Honestly, I don't think there will be a demo and if there was, I'd rather avoid it until the game releases. I want to play it at home all day long and not just for a few minutes. I want the full game!
i don't want to play a demo before release, i just want the full game in my hands. i don't want to get attached to my demo town(s) only to have to start all over again. plus what if i get a perfect starting villager combo?
no no, too much stress for me.
i also highly doubt they'll release a demo outside of PAX east unless it's another sort of gathering. i am however hoping nintendo lets people use capture cards so we can get a feel for the first 30 or so minutes of the game at maximum screen quality.
i feel like the demo will only be for those who attend PAX East - the demo would likely just be the first like 30 mins of gameplay, though ;o
as for me, i likely wouldn?t use the demo to reset for starter villagers or any of that jazz - i would just use it to try and get used to the mechanics and then create my actual character for the game file i want saved
I really hope they don't release a demo on the eshop. Like as painful as it is waiting day by day I'd rather wait it out for the full experience than a 30 minute demo. Of course I'd love to see what the people who get too experience the demo get out of it, but I don't think it should be released to the public. Animal Crossing is so much more than what you could probably get out of a 30 minute demo and since it's a slow day by day type of game I don't want people who have never played or heard of animal crossing before to base their thoughts on it on that small portion of the game bc the first day might be boring.
