I had Hazel as one of the first villagers to move in at the start up. I didn't like her but I didn't hate her either. All squirrels are cute though even though they might be slightly unappealing so people eventually warm up to them. Plus because she's uchi, she was the main one to give me medicine for bee stings lol

I liked her personality and she was cute, her unibrow was the main thing that bothered me along with whenever I changed a catchphrase for a different villager she would change it to uniwow... Frustrating but because I had Lyman as the most hated in my town, she was alright in comparison. I had three squirrels too! Peanut, Blaire, and Hazel so when Hazel decided to move I let her go first.

Hazel is cute, I don't see why everyone should hate on her just because she has a unibrow. Isn't it kind of similar to Merengue, where she's themed after a strawberry shortcake, but she's a rhino which is kinda...eh? (no hate on Merengue I love her ok).
I actually got Hazel as a voided villager. I was neutral with her, but after staying at my town after a week or two, I grew extremely attached to her <3

Literally one of the only Uchis that I like, apart from Muffy.
Tammy is alright, but I feel like she doesn't fit me o~o

I was worried this was going to be another Hazel bashing thread. I don't get the unibrow-hate, either! I think it just makes her look cuter, as well. I'd love to have her in my town.

Hazel was my first move-in, and at the time, I was actually kind of bothered: she put her house right in front of a pond next to my house, and I'd had ideas about that pond when I put my house there... But now, I'm happy for my little neighbor.

Also, I really like her catchphrase being "uni-wow," and have kept her to it for over a year now. Combine that with the general uchi personality... And it makes me feel like she's proud of her uni-brow, like, I sort of have a little story about it in my head. Like she'd think it gives her face character, and it's hers, and what -- you wanna make something of it? And I think that idea -- that she feels like she'd be happy or proud about a thing others would view as an imperfection, is really very charming, even if it's just a thing I've thought waaay too much about.

I've always liked Hazel's unibrow and hazelnut haircut.I think the combination of her appearance and uchi personality turns a lot of people off but I think it makes her more interesting.She's the first uchi villager that I really liked in New Leaf.

They're all unique in their own ways, heck, what do I care if it's a unibrow or a squiggle on their forehead.
Just as I don't want to like people just for their outer appearance, I want to try and experience playing together with all villagers fair and square.

I think it's silly how people hate Hazel solely because of her unibrow. Change her name to Helga and give her a tsundere personality and she'd easily become one of my favourite characters.
