This has been posted many times before. The hype around her is real because she's incredibly aesthetically pleasing, not just because of her name.

The reference is only present in the English localization. In every other language she has an ordinary name (Monica in Japanese/Korean/French, Lupilia in Italian and Katarina in German).

I originally did not care to have Audie in town, while I thought she was cute I didn't consider her a must have. That was before I found out of this story and changed my mind on her!

There is a story called Audie and the wolf. It’s not as cute but I think thats the case
