So annoying! Help!

Uhhhhhh I'm so annoyed, five of my villagers just decided to change their shirts to that ugly green shirt with the chicken on it. I have been trying to get them into something else, but nothing is working. Whats any easy way to get them to change their shirt? help!

I feel your pain. I really don't like the Able Sister's shirts. Have you tried mailing each of them 3 or 4 of the shirt you want them to wear?

Unfortunately, it isn't really easy to get villagers to change into different shirts manually. If you send them shirts in the mail, you probably have a better chance than any other method, but there's a huge chance that they'll just put them in their homes... although, I think if you just send them one shirt repeatedly, they won't put more than one in their house.

I know, I hate that too. One of the first things I do when I start up a new file is change all the shirts in the Able Sisters into umbrellas.

I heard that you could send them shirts in the mail and there might be a chance that they will wear it. No guarantee though.

If you tell Isabelle you don't like what they're wearing it will change their shirt immediately. Kyle looked so stupid in that green chicken shirt when I had him hahaha.

After that, change the design and start mailing them some clothing. Sometimes it takes a few tries before they actually wear it though!

Talking to Isabelle will only work with custom designs though, not pre-made game shirts. Complaining to Isabelle is a feature to get rid of questionable material on a villager (inappropriate custom designs, inappropriate letters/catchphrases, etc), usually obtained if a villager moves in from another town.

I'm unsure of the number, I think it's 6 letters, if you send a villagers letters (in a same batch) with the shirt that you want them to use they will change to that one, but one shirt will end up in their house.

I hate it too. Julian changed his shirt way too quickly and I don't have his shirt in the catalogue. But as many people have already said, just mail their shirt to them multiple times. And to prevent this happening in the future just put up a whole bunch of umbrella designs in the able sisters

Go to the Able Sisters shop and turn all of those shirts into umbrellas or dresses. Then you'll never see those stupid shirts again. Once they change out of them, that is.

I have changed Roscoe, Mott, Twiggy, Rod, Tangy and Kidd's shirts by first finding out what they like then from a list of possibles I mail them a top I think they would look good in. If they aren't wearing it I will sent them another. Normally, I don't need to send a villager more than two shirts before I see them wearing the top I got for them. Yes, one of the tops may end up in their house but for me that's a small price to pay to get them out of those damn able sister shirts.
