Snow freaking way!

I jumped ahead a month with a new character to make sure nobody was moving out (I'd gone back a day to "cure" Phoebe of her illness, then jumped back to the present, and everyone's asleep), and the preview screen showed snow falling on Chief's head! I know some people don't like snow, or get sick of it after a while, but it made me happy to see it. Happy and jealous, because it's going to be about a month until I actually get a nice snowfall. I like walking on the beach with the snow falling, listening to that magical snowy music. I just built the instrument shelter, and I like checking it to know when there's going to be a snowy hour coming up.

Anyone else looking forward to the snow?

Yeah ^.^ Winter has to be one of my favorites season in AC, everything is just so beautiful and magical looking.

I am but I know I'll get very sick of it eventually and want the green back. It is a nice novelty though, as I don't ever get to experience where I live.

Yeah, I can't wait for it! I love the winter in Animal Crossing, everything looks so pretty when it's covered in white. And I enjoy the music also!

Yeah pretty excited for the leaves to turn red-orange(?) and for snow to fall since it'll be my first time seeing it in AC! Plus we don't have snow here so it's the closest thing I could get to experiencing it.

January through March 2014 was very rough. And, at some point in late-January or early-February (real time), I gradually yet quickly time-traveled my "Animal Crossing: New Leaf" first town, Applewin, until the snow was gone.

This cheered me up.

I'm thinking we won't be getting two consecutive years of that ridiculous weather.

my favorite period however is early-mid April with the cherry-blossoms in bloom

I like the yellow/green grass in the fall. I think it is cool that even the bamboo plants will change color a bit for the seasons. The snow is fun because the snowman family is cute. I can never build the snowboy perfect though. I remember the snowtyke saying something like "brother looks kind of funny, but at least everyone's here!" lol

Oh, I hope you are right about the weather this year! I do love the snow in ACNL - especially the special snowflake sound, lol. But just like in real life, I'm sure I will be ready for spring long before it arrives!

I personally love the snow in AC. I have my first town set to present time and then my other town set in December (so I can play the other events and because of the snow). I live in South Carolina (south-eastern United States) and we rarely get snow here, we either get ice storms or snow that lasts for a few hours, so AC lets me have my "snow fix" lol.

I think the winter is fun in AC. I've been making snowmen and playing Bingo in my cycling town.. which is fun but also SUPER frustrating when you are just ever-so-slightly off on building them. It's a lot of work for a prize, but I do feel accomplished when I finally get that Bingo (●?ω｀●)

I've been doing that in my second town and I have so much fun doing that! I think I have 4 Bingo Snowmen set up right now

I like it when it first shows up, but at the and of winter I can't wait for the green to come back and I especially love the cherry blossom period, but who doesn't love the cherry blossoms in AC?!

Although I do admit I am enjoying fall currently, I've always seemed to really like the colors the leaves and grass change to in the game, especially as the month progresses! But I'm sure it will be a pleasant surprise too when we get to see the first snowfall in the game, considering it has been a nearly an entire year after all? /// (that is, if you timeskip really often days and days at a time i think and you end up getting to the winter months earlier than expected...)

but i personally like it! I also enjoyed the little game with the snow people family, although making them perfect was a little tedious for me... (especially the snowmam to get items from the ice set.. I feel like I really needed enough patience for that!)

but overall, I guess you could say I'm excited.

I can hardly wait for the snow. I love the music that plays when it's snowing, I love building the snowmen/snow family, and I absolutely love how the pine trees get colorful lights around the time of Toy Day. They really did a good job at making winter a magical time in New Leaf. :3
