I don't really know anyone that much to call them the smartest. But anyone who has good moral values, good grades, and a great personality is smart to me! :D

>implying he cares

also dubs is obviously smarter than me.

Such a small percentage of your intelligence can be seen on a forum... I mean really I normally look at a multiple intelligence model, from a quick google I believe Gardener's is the one I read about. And really on a forum you only see how people handle linguistics, and some inter/intra personal intelligence... yeah I'm showing off :-p

Starts of with English I can understand and then some random word I've never heard or seen before comes up, then I'm just like fts idgaf anymore.

That doesn't necessarily mean your smart. Anyone can use a standard thesaurus.

What are you implying, sir?

I wanted to stay out of this but meh...

Do any of you understand the characteristics of a "smart" person?
Oft times, they have a remarkably versatile vocabulary, tend to keep to themselves and don't talk about their "smartness". It's kinda like the *censored.1.3* who brags about their intellectual quotient. The bragger isn't really that intelligent, they just took a couple of online tests that doesn't tell them squat.

An intelligent person is/has:
Thoughtful
Quiet
Humble
A wide vocabulary and grammatical skills
Mindset of a businessman
Does not casually swear
Level-headed

By this I mean I nominate Jeremy, as if there were any question. Granted he hosted the site on Zetaboards, he was still competent enough to start, and keep the damned thing running.

Intelligence is shown through one's actions, not by one's peers.

I'd say i am.

Because i just got this buck double off the BK value menu.

That would make sense if Niko was Jeremy.

I disagree with the quiet, humble, does not casually swear, level-headed,and possibly the mindset of a businessman depending on what you mean by it. What about the eccentric geniuses?

Introversion and extroversion aren't really markers for intelligence in my book.

Humble, though I would say more common in the intelligent, is not always.

Casually swearing, while often a marker of low vocabulary, is not always true and sometimes entirely appropriate in my mind at least.

Level-headed? Though I will agree that being able to keep your head is a beneficial trait, I do not believe all things need to be approached calmly, and that it isn't always the most intelligent thing to do. Most things that are fun are better when not for one, and some things are just better experienced when you give into pure emotion.

I don't know quite what was meant by the mindset of a businessman... but I am prejudiced against businessmen, so I might be entirely out of place questioning this one.
