Small question about hybrids.

I’m trying to get the blue rose and I have the two hybrid red roses I need. I planted them yesterday and checked back earlier to see that they made a black rose. And I looked it up to see that no guide about hybrids showed a black rose from two hybrid red roses. Is this normal? Or am I just over reacting
