I did read Jennifer's sticky, but didn't see an answer to my question. Possibly because there is no answer to it
Does anyone know of tips, tricks or hints that would increase the chances of getting the Sloppy series to show up at Re-Tail or the police station?

Random =x no tricks/tip for that~ Fastest way is to buy it at Re-Tail for about 2m?

It is completely random. No way to increase chances. Unless you do have a villager with sloppy set,it might increase your chances in the station.

Thanks guys. I guess I'll just have to be patient. I got the sloppy wallpaper about a month ago and I was so excited. Everyday I kept checking but nothing more was put up for sale. I thought I had done something wrong.

You have done nothing wrong. It's hit or miss and mostly miss.
