Way before this game released I thought it would be nice to have a mainland to fly to for mini games and bonus furniture/clothing sets like the island in New Leaf. I’m not sure if they’ll have a feature like this again but island tours and visits were one of my favorite things to do.
I don't see it happening, but it'd be really cool if they could bring back a version of the auction house like in City Folk. Like a store or something you can access online where you can put your items up and then another person can send payment or trade for it. The devs must be aware of people scamming others. I think the AC team does listen to what the fans want more so than other games, like in the NL update they fixed specific things people complained about like villagers not moving over patterns anymore.
i don't think we'll ever get the tweaks to the dressing room shopping, or bulk crafting. considering how quickly they were recognized as an issue i find it hard to believe the devs wouldn't have realized what a burden they'd be while playtesting.
i think we're well past the point of getting the abd card or the fountain goddess back too i only started playing with new leaf so i never got to experience them. serena is so cute.
I don't think we're gonna see Resetti or Don's faces again, at least not permanently. Maybe they'll do an event type thing like Reese / Cyrus and Rover, and I'd honestly be happy with that because I just wanna talk to him and see them again. But I don't think they'll do anything like they have in the previous games, especially since the autosave took their jobs
improvements to the villagers' role in the game. i like the new actions that villagers can do (smelling flowers, doing yoga, falling asleep outside) to make them more lively. however i can't help but feel like the new feature was an afterthought because there wasn't really much done with the villagers anyway? in contrast to new leaf, the villagers in new horizons seem like they're in the background.
for example, the fishing tourney. players can already participate in fishing tourneys without waiting for updates if they time travel, i believe, so i don't think there will be an update to change the event. during this event, villagers will "fish", but they won't compete against the res rep and they can't win trophies like they did in NL. personally i never cared for the fishing tourney, but i liked seeing the little things such as the award ceremony in NL. it made me feel more connected (?) to my villagers.
i'd like to be more optimistic about hide-and-seek and scheduled play dates with my villagers at either their houses or my house though!
I seriously wish they would improve the number of options for speaking to NPCs like Sahara and the dodo crew. Once you’ve had their full dialogue once the options should be condensed to a much smaller menu. Sadly I don’t see that coming
Flea market for ww is something I think would be cool to come back, like maybe they could have reese and cyrus running it or something... But I very much doubt it would ever happen
I do not think they will add a separate by X number button or a mass eat button for normal fruit. I see people highly requesting to split stacks of items faster but I just don't see such a little feature to be added. Also, for some reason, fruit doesn't have a mass eat button like turnips, its a weird choice but I can't see them changing it.
Quality of life updates (i.e. mass crafting and whatnot). Don't get me wrong I would LOVE these, but considering they aren't really bugs I think Nintendo purposely omitted them from gameplay Please prove me wrong Nintendo!
