I thought that this would be a good idea...

Anyway... people have been saying good bye to my BF's little sister. My mom isn't sure if she has passed yet, but people have been saying good bye to her. It has been a long battle for her. I don't want to tell more, but I may tell more.

What did you expirence?

My great-aunt died last week, of old age.
My grandma is in critical condition, there's something wrong with her kidney.

That is so sad.D:

It is official. She has passed away. :( All I know that she wasn't going well. I do believe that she is now in a better place. :)

When I was turning 4, my grandmother attempted to prepare a party (I was in Asia at the time with her) sadly in preperations her diabetes caught up to her and she was dead. She somehow died on the exact day of my birth, I feel like it was a remeberance of her, so every year that I turn older I will remeber her.

Damn Star Fire, that sucks hard! D':

My Grandmother died to a fatal heart attack a few years ago.
My Grandad suffered a severe damaging heart attack but he survived it and is healthy now after having heart surgery.
My other Grandma had a weak type of cancer but that's been cured now.
My other Grandad currently has prostate cancer and he is not at all worried about death, really strong guy.

My mother passed on Saturday to a severe amount of Brain Hemorrhage (and hospital's ignorant staff) and she's missed very much.

My Friend is taking it fine. Her ONLY younger sibling just passed away!

Awww. Thats sad! :( At least you remember her. :)

And for that, my great grandfather fought in WWII. He broke a leg and lived. Be passed in 2011. He will not be forgoton.

Her death and how my best friend wil react, those thoughts are circling around my brain.

I'm sorry about that. The most recent family death was in 2009 I think. It was my birthday party, the weekend before my birthday, and my aunt and mom had to go early because my aunt's uncle (I think) was dying, and sure enough, he died later that day.

Gosh. Those are the only two deaths in my area. (except for a farmer shot. *shivers*)

Wrong word choice, friend.

Appreciation (defined as recognition and enjoyment of the good qualities of someone or something.)

You should put condolences or understanding.

My grandma died in her 40s, from an asthma attack mainly due to allergies from her cat. This is why I get really annoyed when people don't take advice from their doctors seriously.
Her husband died from a heart attack, also before I was born.
My other grandfather died from bowel cancer, when I was 2.

So basically, no one close to me has ever died but I come into contact with death and grieving families at work (i'm a med student) and I'm actually really scared for how I'll react when someone I know dies :(

For how they treated you.

The point is to appreciate the good qualities and memories of those who have passed, or are ill.

I don't understand how that's the wrong word choice.

Saddest death I've ever experienced was someone who used to be a good friend of mine. She died at 18 of mental illness. I hadn't spoken to her in a couple of years when I found out but it made me really regret losing contact with her. I really wish I could have known what she was going through and try to help her somehow :(

I also lost my grandma a few years ago to cancer. I couldn't even go to the funeral because of exams, which I was already doing early because I had to leave the country for an exchange a few days later.
