Show me your flower/plant arrangements!

So I'm really bad at arranging flowers, especially because my town is going to be completely covered in pattern (the grass, the paths, etc etc) and I'm concerned that putting down flowers is going to look weird with the half blocks left empty and stuff. On top of that I have no sense of color matching at all. <_<

That being said, can you post some pictures of how you have greenery arranged in your town? Whether it's a big garden arrangement or just how you display flowers outside of a home or shop, I need some ideas!!

Sorry I can't post pictures but I like to plant a lot of bushes and stumps where the houses are and then wherever there isn't a bush or path I cover with flowers of one or two colors. Wherever there aren't buildings I like to plant dense forests or fruit orchards depending on what the town is supposed to be.

I just hate how the edges of things look where I'm patterning the whole town, I don't know how to fix it aughhh

You can visit Serenade in a dream to get an idea how I did mine but the whole town it only 3 colors for the most part because that is the color of the path.

It takes quite a long time to look through that screenshot thread & there aren't a lot of flower arrangements featured in the pictures. But, it has some interesting finds.

I understand your ocd: I love landscaping & it's one of my favorite aspects of the game. Here's a few screenies I took in my town on Friday. There's a lot more but it's hard to see everything in pictures so I will let you know when I finally update my DA if you want

It's really hard to see how everything connects (better in person!) And the oaths are white because my town is a winter town. I'm just playing through for fish/bugs/etc. Also, the random pattern you see is for plot resetting which I only have to do one last time when Nan moves in.

I don't have any photos to share with you.
A suggestion is all I have!
Pink cosmos and white violets near pink hydrangea bushes. That arrangement is is one of my dream town town. It's looks really pretty!

So, you should plant the same flower colours as the bushes.
Red, orange, yellow flowers with the hibiscus
White, mostly pink flowers (white violets/roses/carnations. Pink everything!) near azalea bushes.
Blue, purple flowers with hydrangea bushes!! Like, blue pansies and purple pansies, and white violets!

In that same dream town town, I have different coloured tulips in a pattern.
Tulips are one of the flowers that looks the nicest arranged next to each other.

In my second town, I use blue, purple, black, orange hybrids then gold roses, a few red/white carnations and jacob's ladders.
