He scares the living daylights out of me. I logged in before to take some quick videos of my island and he was hopping around right outside of my door. I wouldn’t be surprised if I saw him on five nights at freddys sometime

I'm collecting eggs and sakura petals!

I find the increased use of net, rod, and slingshot more annoying

but I really want to craft the goods from the eggs cos I'm planning on making a seasonal area

I'm having fun with it so far, but this is only day 1, so we'll see how I feel on day 12. I can understand how people are growing annoyed at trying to catch fish and getting eggs instead. Otherwise, I don't think the event gets in the way too much. You still get resources from trees and stones and dig spots. Sometimes you get eggs too, but it hasn't been to the point I feel that this event "gets in the way." I get really excited about holidays and enjoy celebrating them, so this is alright for me!

I'm just ignoring the event and focusing on the stuff I normally do every day such as grinding nook miles for instance. Besides, I have 12 days. I got plenty of time.

i... did not appreciate it.

so far i'm finding the holiday pretty good. the eggs don't seem intrusive to me (yet, we'll see. it might be a nuisance if i want to catch new april fish) and i'm having a nice time collecting DIY recipes. the amount of balloon spawns stresses me out though...

im actually really happy to have him as the bunny furniture is my fave event furniture, i always make sure to give him a friendly wave when i see him

He's pretty creepy to me and it's so weird that he goes out of character as soon as you walk outside of his line of vision. Other than him I actually like this event.

I think the event is fine.

Zipper himself is extremely creepy though. You know how little kids sometimes see costumed characters and cry in fear? Zipper feels like that sort of creepy - the type that would make little kids cry. Or maybe he'd fit well in Five Nights at Freddy's.

Farming the nook miles I wouldn’t do at the moment cos of the balloon bug unless you don’t want balloons not to spawn anymore. I shot 300 balloons today so what’s the point of 12 days of this event if we can’t get the recipes hope it gets patched soon and 2 events at the same time is not what I like to be honest.

Again, the game's not perfect, it's not going to be and it can't be. People are going to dislike certain parts of it. And people are going to make lighthearted threads complaining about minor inconveniences in the game, too.

I'm not going to change my username to 'AnimalCrossingHater99' just because I'm wondering what Zipper's done with all the barred knifejaws.

Preach! I am tired of people trying to tell me that I "hate" the game for seeing it as anything less than perfection. I'm just over here like um no...I LOVE the game, but it does have its issues. People need to skewing our words. We don't hate the game.

It’s a little annoying but isn’t too bad for me. Gets tedious when I’m trying to fish to earn Nook Miles+ and end up getting an egg instead.
