Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove

So I've never played retro games at all before, but lately I've been getting the itch to try it out. Shovel Knight is a beloved retro style game that I've suddenly grown interested in very recently and it's on sale on the eshop for 25% off. However, it's still quite high for me (especially after I just went on an eshop shopping spree ) and I just want to know if anyone here has noticed the game go on sale for more than that in the past year or so? Or how often it even goes on sale? I don't wanna miss out on a sale if it's a very rare occurence, but if it goes on sale pretty often, i might hold out for a better one. Also would love to hear your thoughts on the game

Shovel Knight Treasure Trove is actually my favorite game! The pixel art, gameplay, story, and music all come together to make something truly worthwhile. It’s one of the only games I’ve replayed several times and still enjoyed it the same amount. Even at full price I’d still say the game is worth it.
