Why take your cellphone to school? It isnt necessary to have it in school, and you are just leaving the door open for it to be taken away if caught using it. If there was an emergency be sure that the school would contact your parents or would let you use the school phone to contact them. Or if there was an emergency at home, your parents could easily find the school's number. Cellphones in school is pointless, and a good way to get it taken away.

well it's important that you can be reached when in a familycrisis etc.
i always have my mobile on me, it's just handy, like when you're going to a friend's house, you can call your parents to say that etc.

Here is what I suggest, I recommend you bring your phone to school, but don't carry it around in your pocket during classes. That is how it gets stolen, or taken away by a teacher.

Well, I am involved in after-school sports which require me to call my parents for a ride home in case we get out early. Like I said above, bring your phone to school, but be sure to just leave it in a secluded pocket inside your backpack inside your locker.
