Should I start a cycling town?

That is totally up to you, I used to cycle and I liked it for awhile. It was exciting getting randoms, but it is a lot of work. ^^; I use that village as a reset town now. c:

It's fun, but requires a commitment. If you don't want to spend a couple hours a day doing it, the best thing to do is not, but it is your choice. I still cycle, and. I enjoy it ^_^

It depends on you (;^^)
There are so many cycling threads in the forums, so I'd say its best to start once activity goes down. (・∀・ )

I would say no.

To have a successful cycling thread/town/whatever, I think you need to be at least a LITTLE bit committed. You should be able to cycle out Villagers quickly/efficiently, be actively online (especially since you'll members following your thread for their dreamies), be organized, and consistant.

BUT, if you seriously think you can do all of that + be able to play on your own town. Go for it, but as Slowpoke said - there are SO many cycling threads nowadays. It might be better to just wait it out OR just create a 2nd town.

I just want to say, I don't think you have to look at it like a business. The thread doesn't require some kind of commitment like one move out a day. But if you're going to be getting rid of a lot of people, why not start a cycling thread? I mean, there are some fantastic, professional ones out there. But yours doesn't have to be like that, you can just cycle as you want and when someone becomes available, announce it in that thread (change the end of the title to say who's moving out, for example). Yeah, there are plenty of cycling threads, yet people still buy villagers and they're still looking. You may not get a ton of attention at first, but it's a good way to save space and not just keep posting a new thread every time someone is ready to move out. I do think it should be updated regularly, if you want to start one, you should strive not to give up after just like a week or something. Try to keep it up. :) But if not, at least you'll have tried and you'll have been able to supply people with their dreamies :)

Like others have said, it is completely up to you. It takes a lot of work to continually cycle, so I would think long and hard about it before you do.
