Should I restart?

I have been playing other games for the past week and haven't touched New Leaf til this morning and all of my Villagers were mad at me, someone moved into my orchard, and my hybrids were kinda bleh. I was going to just go with it for now, but I am kinda debating on just restarting again.

I already have Amiibo cards of my dreamies so i wont miss them too much, but sadly all my items and such will be lost cause I can't trade with myself.

Question is should I do a Do Over?

You could always ask someone to hold your items for you.

It's probably best to see if someone can hold your items for you. It was super tedious, filling up every page of the locker, taking everything out and putting it in my wife's town... but SO worth it. It's like starting fresh with a new map and everything... without having to work ridiculously hard. It's especially helpful to take bells with you. Makes the first few house upgrades very easy to help you quickly get the secret storage room.
