Should I make another player..

Just for pathways? A lot of pathway designs need over 8 design slots and I can't work out if its worth making a new player just to maintain the paths. Have many others done this?

Many people do this, yes. It's up to you whether or not you want to do it too though. If you're happy to have another house taking up space in your town then go ahead.

You could make a new player lay down the paths make a house etc

Yes this is very common and plus it's fun to dress up another character

It's a good enough reason to make another character, plus you could also do something interesting with extra characters to make your town a lot more attractive.

I'm also going to be making more characters for some designs, but also I want some certain buildings in my town, like putting a knight with a medieval castle and a chef in a restaurant.

Are there more reasons for making another player? Do you get extra things?

I don't have another player yet but thinking about it just for the paths and might be able to finish my collections. The only bad thing about making another character is paying off another home loan.
