Should I get Marina for trading her away?

Heya!

Bree moved out today and I haven't given up hope on finding Raymond. I now ran into Marina for the third time, and I know she's popular...
So should I just take her in and, if the moving bug was fixed by now, force her out with an amiibo so someone who actually wants her can have her?

I'm kinda torn right now, between wanting to look for Raymond further and have him fill that tenth villager spot, or to just get Marina to trade her away.

What are your thoughts on that?

I think it's ok to put more Marinas in the market, if you don't mind that! She's really cute, I would love to have her but I rather have Octavian and I don't like repeating animal types. Maybe you even like her and keep her, I heard she sings a lot and it's really cute!

Yup! After Bree moved out, I'm back to nine spots.
I got.. four left now. So it's a total gamble, but I just really want Raymond. Just to clarify, I keep getting popular villagers, I got Marina three times, Zucker twice, Judy once, Merengue twice, but there's really no sign of Raymond <<

Dang, that’s pretty lucky. Although popularity actually has no bearing on the chances you find them on an island.
If you want to play it safe. I’d say take her. She’s a real cutie anyways. Most reliable way I’ve seen for hunting villagers is to not have any smug villagers then you can hunt through the campsite or through random plots, though you have to be comfortable with time travelling.

I wouldn't even really want anything for her. Maybe a microphone to put it in music area haha I do like her design wise! But I made my dreamy list up already, and don't wanna change it haha

Would be really good if they release Amiibos for the new villagers. Should lower their prices to reasonable levels. While they’re at it. They should also reprint the old Amiibos. Not like they’re making a profit from the insane resale market anyways.
