Should I Buy a Second Cartridge?

Well, in savings I have 77$ and AC:NL is 19.99 +tax

Yesssssss. I love having several copies, I can meet more villagers and allow myself to be more creative.

I think having multiple copies of Animal Crossing is awesome ^^ I would do it. I'm actually planning on doing that because I want the new town feel without restarting my town that I've had for three years.

Having a second town is even more fun! Having separate themes and roles for each town is so satisfying. Go for it!

Do you have a second 3DS? If you do, there's even more benefits:

- You can trade with yourself. That's especially beneficial if you feel like restarting a town. Then you can have your other games hold items.
- You have 2 towns, so there's 2 possibilities of good turnip prices and premium items at ReTail.
- If a villager wants a petition signed, it's a lot easier to just do it with your other town than trying to find someone willing to help you with it.
- You can use 1 town to cycle for dreamies and be able to get them into your non-cycle town if you want.

I think it sounds like a fun idea! I nearly bought myself a second cartridge a couple weeks ago when the price was that low here, but I spent the money on more amiibo cards instead. xD

It depends on if you have the time to devote to a second town, and if you have the money to do so (which it sounds like you do). You also have to consider if the money is better put towards another game you might enjoy, or other things in the new year, like the Switch, like AndyP08 mentioned. ^^
