I'm wondering should I get this game or Fire Emblem.I'm quite the Shin Megami fan and I've played past games.As for Fire Emblem playing the demo seemed nice and there are good reviews but I don't really know much about the whole storyline.If this game's storyline is continuing from another game's storyline.I dunno.What are your thoughts on Shin Megami Tensei IV.

i have both and i go with shin but if you look for a war game i say fire
Well, in Fire Emblem the main character, you, loses amnesia, so when I played the demo, it didn't really feel confusing to me (I didn't play the other games).
I saw the videos on the eShop for Shin Megami and all I can say is... WOW. The game looks outstanding just for those videos.
I agree with jamesmikehj, you should go with Shin Megami.

Fire Emblem Awakening: Not sure about story LOL. I think it's a pretty cliche story though, all-out war, that stuff. Very interesting for strategic players and even hardcore gamers. It has a perma-death option!
Shin Megami: I never played the series but it looks great! I'm not trying to make Fire Emblem the underdog, really, but this game looks outstanding! Basically, God (I think) choose people worthy of the gauntlet, a device that can defeat demons. Flynn, along with 4 others (I think, again...) go on this journey. Along the journey, you both form and make alliances. Depending on what you do, you can get a different ending. Good for any player who has played Kingdom Hearts or something similar.
Both are fantastic games, but if you feel like the casual gamer, get Fire Emblem. If you feel more adventurous, get Shin Megami. Since you played other Shin games, what I say is: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
