Shifting buildings slightly

I messed up and placed Able Sisters only one tile behind nook's cranny. I assumed I would be able to scoot it back a few tiles with the resident service building function, but it appears that the new plot can't overlap the current one. My island plan only accommodated for the buildings to be in these specific places, unless there's a 4th building I don't know about. Is there a way I can shift Able Sisters?

Below is an approximation of my map, but the top right house and nook's are switched. If anyone has ideas on how else I can place it, let me know!

unfortunately, for some reason, the game considers the own building you are moving as a building in the way, so multiple times ive had to randomly relocate a building to a blank empty location (i see a possible area in the bottom right?) and then move it back the way i wanted it. so, slight fixes where the building would overlap end up being 100k total. this is the only way ive figured to do it.

My friend just ran into this problem yesterday. She had to move it to a completely different location, then move it to the place she wants, slightly shifted from where it was originally. It's such an oversight and very annoying!

EDIT: btw you can temp-place it on your beach

Rats, that's what I was fearing would happen. I'm really terrible at placing buildings in the first place, I wish you could actually see a grid of the area like in the houses! I also misplaced Nook's but it's not absolutely horrible, so I will probably just leave it for a while.
