I've come to the realization that Agent S is never never going to want to move. Julian will forever remain locked in boxes at Maushole in a terrible parody of " Groundhog Day ".

I've begged her and befriended her, gifted her and pushed her, I've harassed her, talked her into thought bubbles. I created a new character so I could ignore her. I refused to go to her Birthday party, I was rude when she wanted things... when that didn't work, I accepted each and every request, thanked her and asked for more.... she... will... never .... move.

I just wanted to vent to people that would understand. I know that I'm not alone in my struggle to get an unwanted villager gone.

I feel like of Mr. Johnson... except it should be a squirrel instead of a cat.....

Being rude and ignoring villagers is the worst way to get them to move. Treat her like you would to a villager you do like and you'll see she'll eventually move.

Apparently to make villagers move you only talk to them once...when you introduce yourself. Then nothing more! And within a week they'll move. Since you've already talked to her, what I've heard is that you create a second resident and talk to the villager you want to move once (to introduce yourself) and then ignore them.

Hitting them and abusing them is the worst way because they don't move up on the befriending scale.

It's like my game knows which villager I want to move and it absolutely refuses to let them leave. Every other villager has wanted to move out multiple times. It's pretty ridiculous x_x

In my experience abusing them or ignoring them or being nice to them won't make any difference as it is totally random who moves out. You don't even have to greet them for them to move. And the last one to move in can be the first to move out, not sure with 10 villagers but with 9 for sure..

Honestly there's nothing I or anyone else can really say. I've tried abusing, ignoring, befriending, everything, and it's so wildly random each time that all I can do is just the let the game go as it pleases without maddening myself by trying to find patterns in it all.

Right now I'm in this weird "dry spell". Nobody is moving out. Nobody is pinging, or spreading rumors, or anything. Sometimes that happens, I guess. It used to happen to me for weeks at a time last year, and it terrifies me that it's happening again, when I'm so close to cycling Roald back...
Whatever moving system this game has is totally bizarre.

I was in the same dire situation as you not two days ago - thought I would be stuck with Jocklife forever with Mott.
He's one of the original 5, and we were good pals. As time goes by, I came to the dreadful conclusion that he would *never* leave my town. (Yes, I did all those things you did, willingly or reluctantly, so yeah)

Anyway, I assume you have 10 villagers, and would TT?
Then use THIS METHOD

After about 6 hours (Wed night then Thursday morning) of rinse & repeat, with mostly Lolly & Merengue as my 'go-to-informant', I spam talk to them at least 6 times each, and Merengue finally mentioned the most soothing words I long to hear.

Beware though, (as Agent S might try to screw you this way like Mott did), when they finally ping (which I need to change the time within the same day twice to trigger), Mott said he won't move because we were best pals and he didn't expect me to agree of him leaving.
Well, as I already noted his moving date before he changed his mind, I power the 3DS off, TT to the day he said he's moving - wooooohooooo BOXES!!
TT one more day and BAM! empty plot available ^^

I totally feel your struggle, that's why I wanna share this with you, hope it will help you as it helped me.
Good luck & speedy eviction!!

P.S. The game troll me by repeatedly looping between my 4 Normals to get them to leave, but NO ONE ELSE.
At some point I almost lost it, and prepare to let go of Merengue. <-- glad I didn't.
So don't give up!

Isn't it impossible or reeally difficult to get the last villager to come to your town to move? Not saying that's the case with Agent S, but if she is then maybe that's the reason?

Yeah, I also thought this. My sister's tenth villager was Marshall. He moved in eight months ago and he has still never asked to move. My tenth villager was Apollo. He moved in at the end of December and didn't ask to move for the longest time. Then, at the end of last week he finally asked to move! I was heartbroken! I thought I was safe from him moving, even though I know that's technically not possible. Anyway, I'm glad that Agnes warned me so I could stop him. He is my absolute favourite villager, and I would be crushed if he ever left.

So I guess what I'm trying to say is, even the tenth villager will ask to move eventually, though it could take seven to eight months or more. :/
