Sharks

How do you catch sharks? I been trying but every time I just cant get it. I am not sure if im pushing a to fast or do u sit and wait till after it gets it for awhile then click a

Fishing is easiest if you do it by sound. Don't look at the screen after you cast it and the fish has noticed it cause you get trigger happy (or at least I do). Once you hear the fish bite just click and hold a until you catch it. Sharks do require a quick response after they bite though. It's kind of unavoidable on the island, but for in your town I recommend getting the silver fishing rod, it keeps the fish hooked longer.

I usually hold A when a fish bites just to ensure I catch it.

No, you catch it like any other fish. It just requires a faster response than other fish. Like they said though, it's easier to ignore the screen and wait for the sound.
I think I have a habit of holding down A, but you don't need to in order to catch it.

Yeah, I do too. It just makes me feel better when I hold it down. XD
