As you all see in the title I am having trouble catching sharks. As long as it is since taking office in Darktoon I have always had trouble catching the "buggers" and the one and only one I have caught is the Wale shark which was a very long time ago. After that moment I haven't caught any more shark even after trying so many times and failing each time, so I need to ask this, can "ANYONE" help by leaving suggestions and/or tips on what I can do that will help me become more successful on the catching of these tricky Water Bears? Thanks and have a nice mayorial day.

I suppose you are going to the island where it's always August.. Otherwise they should spawn regularly.. Try go in and out of the house or scare away the smaller fishies.

I had the same trouble with the tuna before before TTing to february lol

A lot of people, (myself included) find them much easier to catch if you look away/close your eyes and just listen for the sound of the bobber going under. If I'm watching I either psych myself out or reel in too late, but just listening I catch them most of the time.

When you find them, what I do is turn the volume on max and close my eyes. And then, as soon as I hear it I press it. If you're looking at it, you start to panic and reel in too early or too late. It works every time when I listen, though. Just like Jinglefruit said ^.^

This, this, this. It's next to impossible for me to grab them when I'm watching them go for the lure, because I always hit too early.

I always close my eyes when fishing. I just go by sound. Maybe use headphones or earbuds... works for me.

Got to the island (at 8:00 p.m. To 11:00 p.m.) and they will spawn ALOT. Scare of smaller fish too so more sharks will spawn.

thanks I will take your advice as well as the others who replied to this thread and again like I said I really appreciate the advice given by you as well as the others and if I have any success I will post and update on my outcome with the catch's name and it's other info so stay tune if you are interested in hearing the results of my catches.

I will take all your guy's advice and I will post my results both success and/or fail so stay tuned for the results and if you guys want to visit my town and help "coach" me by showing me the way of the catching of the Water Bears; find me on Miiverse and we can exchange friend codes that way we all can go to the Island and try out the advice you all have provided me with. My name on Miiverse is Jake and I have glasses with a light blue shirt representing my favorite color. T'ill then see you later and hopefully later meaning see you in Darktoon if you all decide to pay me and my town a visit can't wait to meet you all.:D

I've caught almost every single shark since i started using this technique

Yeah try just listening and closing your eyes as other's have said. I generally catch them 90% of the time on the island purely from listening only. It makes it a lot easier :3
