Share Your 3DS Coverplates

I recently got a regular size new 3DS all these years later. After having XL’s only for over a decade, It’s officially my favourite 3DS model. It’s the perfect size in my opinion (XL’s are ok but the size is a bit too big in my opinion and the screen doesn’t look as crisp due to worse pixels per inch). The customization of coverplates is an added bonus.

I know the regular size New 3DS had a very limited release in North America so I’m aware not a ton of people were able to get one, but for those who did I’d love to see what coverplates you have (official and third party/custom is fine too). For those who don’t have one feel free to post your favourite coverplates or ones you would probably have if you did.

Here’s mine so far. (I’ll post more in the future as I have a small collection I want to get in mind):

These are the coverplates mine came with (I bought the console used and I believe these are its original coverplates as only one black new 3DS edition was available in North America). It’s the Black Friday Mario Edition.

I also just got these used but in pretty good condition. Colourful Stars. My favourite colour is blue and I do like stars. It definitely adds some colour compared to the original plates.

Those Pikachu coverplates are super cute. I love them on the white console.

Omg yess I'm a huge simp for the 3DS and the regular N3DS was a great addition to an already perfect line of consoles, it's a shame it had such a limited NA run. I ordered mine used online sometime after they became impossible to find in stores (which didn't take long, the HHD bundle is the only one I ever remember seeing). Mine was also a Mario one but one of the cover plates was missing lol. Anyway this is my favorite plate set I have for it:

Sucks that a lot of the plates are basically collector's items now and really expensive.

I don't have them now, but I do remember having New Super Mario Bros. plates for the inside of the console. Very cute, and I still wish I knew where they ended up.
