Share how you placed your lighthouse

I just got my black lighthouse, but now I'm having trouble deciding where to put it. I was thinking about putting it on a cliff on my peninsula with the white ramp going up, but the peninsula is really narrow at the end (2 spaces), so I'm torn.

What I'm considering:

I think I like the third one best, but it might get in the way of walking on the beach? But it would look really nice if I can find a custom path that "extends" the white plank ramp... Also, that swinging bench will be replaced with an iron garden bench soon.

I would love to see how you placed your lighthouse and what kinds of decorations you used near them!

Third is definitely best, and I know I’ve seen a path to match the planks floating around somewhere so you should def be able to make that work! I wish I had saved it though... oh well.
But yes, 3rd is mega cute! And I don’t think it’ll block the way Around the beach anymore than the first 2 do

I put my lighthouse on my left side beach on the black rocks. Decoration wise, I have the anchor item from the fishing tourney near it.

I put mine on the area of outstretched land all the maps have. But I've just been throwing things wherever for the time being as I'm just trying to focus on collecting things right now.

The bushes at the base of the ramp will be replaced with yellow hibiscus, and the ones on top will be red/yellow/red hibiscus. I can't wait to see how it'll look when they're in season!

My western beach has a peninsula that I thought was the perfect spot for a lighthouse.

My friend said it ruined his favorite fishing spot, but we couldn't find a better place for it.

I really love how you decorated it! Mine's like yours but it's just a bare cliff right now

I placed mine along that little stretch of land that sticks out into the water, buuut because I was disappointed in the overall size of the lighthouse to begin with I took a few measures to give it more height.

Not 100% satisfied with it or the area around it at current since I'm still in the process of terraforming my island, but for now it's all right.

Yeah, I just put my lighthouse on the extra piece of land as well. Right now it's on the ground, but I think it'd be fun to me it inaccessible. Don't really see the point in buying an incline for it when you can do nothing with it, you know. I really like Volmise's design for it, it kinda makes me wish we could get "half levels" though, just to be decorative.

Yes! I would love half levels too... I wanted to put some trees up cliffs but it looks really weird with the actual height...

I haven't decided where to put my lighthouse yet, it's either going to be on a flat Rock by the beach or the land strip, still debating whether to put it up a cliff or not..

Mine's similar to @/Volmise but I was scared a fossil would spawn on the extra land jutting out, so I stranded a gnome there.

My lighthouse is on the same peninsula as SleepyMimeko’s, it really is a gorgeous spot. Prior to that we had it on the top left, 3rd level corner, but it didn’t feel right being up on a mountain lol
