My biggest wish for Animal Crossing is being able to play as an animal. This is something I've wanted and been sad about not being able to do ever since the first game. I would be so happy if player character creation could include a variety of typical animal species with customizable characteristics. If they ever made this a feature, I would at least have to give the game a try.

If you're planning to not play for several days or weeks, you can tell Wardell. He'll pull weeds, keep your house free of roaches, and tell the villagers where you are so they won't worry.

Why Wardell? Because he's a sweet and chill guy who'd be a great house-sitter, and because I love manatees.
