I checked Nintendo.com and it looks like it’ll take until 7pm pacific time (so about 2 hours from now). I don’t know if it’ll do a pop-up when it’s done, though.

Hmm seems like they are about to release another patch. I won't be surprised if they do because there has been a glitch where villagers at the resort are not wearing any clothes when working.

Well you haven't but in the gaming news media they covered it and I bet Nintendo is working really hard on a patch to fix it.
