We may be getting a patch. Something like v1.7.1.

If we do, it will likely be nothing special. Usually just a bug fix.

I know, what I mean is it looks like it's system wide. Animal Crossing is affected, but may not be the reason for it.

Yeah, I don’t have my switch right now but it seems as though the entire system and most services are affected.
Maybe it’s a patch for a bug or something. Because we haven’t heard anything, it’s most likely nothing important.
