Serious question: Dom or Sherb? Why?

We've been introduced two new horned boys upon the release of New Horizons/the Pocket Camp update: Dom and Sherb. Both are cute in similar ways, with their dopey faces and pastel colors. But which of these lads reigns at the top?

My personal opinion is this: Dom is my favorite. I think he's the cutest villager of all time (a lofty opinion, I know, but he just hits all the right chords with me)! I prefer his pink/red hues to Sherb's blue hues for starters, and his crybaby eyes hit me harder than Sherb's. I also prefer the jock personality to the lazy personality, and the sheep is among my favorite species. But the most important thing for me is Dom's wide range of emotions and expressions. He is more interesting to watch than Sherb, and with so little things to do in New Horizons once your island is at 100%, Dom's dynamic personality comes in clutch!

Please note that I have BOTH Dom and Sherb (Sherb was my starter lazy on my secondary island, while I payed good NMT for my homeboy Dom on my main island), so I value both boys. I just have a clear favorite.

What about you, guys? Whose your favorite out of the two, and why?

I don't like either, but the goat design is ugly, IMO, and a jock sheep is.. UGH, but sheep have a better design.

I was actually contemplating getting Dom for awhile, so I have absolutely nothing against him. However, Sherb was one of the new villagers who I liked immediately, along with Judy. I'm not typically a lover of the Animal Crossing goats, which is why it was an interesting change of pace for me to put one near the top of my dreamie list. Sherb is just sooo cute. He has the sweetest face I've ever seen. It's almost babylike, in the sense that I want to squeeze his little cheeks. Again, I like Dom a lot too. If we were allowed to have 11 villagers, he'd be on my island for sure.

I also have both of them on my secondary island and I love Dom more I love Sherb too but Dom & I clicked immediately and I’ve even contemplated bringing him to my main island

I love his facial expression & how chunky he looks despite being a jock lol Jocks are not my favorite personality so it’s nice having a jock that doesn’t really look like a jock (plus his hobby is play). Sherb sadly is among the many lazies that I already like so he just got pushed aside by then

I initially didn’t have any interest in either; Sherb because I didn’t like the goat designs (still don’t aside from Sherb but will be trying some others out maybe eventually), and Dom because of those eyes. But after having both (Sherb is a permanent resident, and Dom was temporary), both have become favorites (Dom lower in the list than Sherb). What bothered me about Dom—his eyes, ended up being what I found so endearing about him. I definitely loved his facial expressions more than Sherb’s.

I can understand why not everyone may like them and not everyone will grow to like them as I had. Nothing wrong with that .

i have dom on my island currently, but i literally fell in love with sherb the moment i saw him so i like sherb more. i absolutely love sherb's eyes and he's so cute to me! he's not my favorite of the new villagers but i like him a bit more than dom. i still love dom so so so much though! i'm not even a big fan of the goats, in fact i kind of dislike them (but i LOVE chevre and nan)

Dom, definitely. I find him hilarious-he’s trying his best to be cool!

Sherb is overrated in my honest opinion. Sure he’s adorable (he IS the best goat by far) but at the same time he’s a bit bland. I think he’s on par with Megan (an underrated bear) in terms of cuteness.

Dom. I like that he doesn't fit the jock look and that what makes him great. A lot of the Japanese artists I follow kept tweeting his face and I just grown to love his expressions. It's so exaggerated. I like that he's a walking contradiction.

Sherb, he's on my island but doesn't belong on my murder island. I don't think his design is bad but he's too innocent, lol.

I have both and adore them both for different reasons, but if I absolutely had to choose probably Dom for his ridiculous facial expressions. Also, I play in Japanese and his name is Chachamaru in that version, which is the best.

I think I'm partial to Sherb but mostly because I dislike the sheep in general. Dom is definitely among the cutest of the sheep though!

Also my brother mentioned awhile back that Sherb's face looks really gaunt and malnourished bc of its shape and now I feel bad whenever I see him lol. Poor boy needs more snacks.

I like both of them but Dom is my fav by a longshot, mostly because I adore the sheep villagers. I also love his tie-dye shirt and how he always looks like he's on the verge of tears lol.

Neither. There's only one of the 8 new villagers that's my favorite and that's Raymond and him only.

Personally, I just like Sherb's whole vibe/appearance better. I also had him on my island for a long time and I liked him initially, but grew to really love him as I had him more. I've since let him move, but I have lovely memories with him!

BUT. And it's a big but-

I think, overall, Dom is a better villager. Mainly because jock villagers tend to be very... masculine. Most jock villagers have a vibe that, while totally fitting to their personality, isn't everyone's cup of tea. If someone wants a cute/pastel island, they used to basically have no jock options. Until Dom came around. Whereas, lazies have absolutely no shortage of adorable villagers. I've seen a lot of people who are like "I don't like/want jocks... except for Dom". So, I gotta go with Dom just for that.

...I may've looked up what group goats and sheep belong to, lol.

Sherb! I don't even have to think about it, no offense to Dom (he is very adorable). Jock is my least liked personality and Dom is just a bit too cutesy for me personally. I greatly prefer lazy over jock. There is something about Sherb that I just adore. I don't currently have him on island but I did back on my original one and he was one of my favorite villagers to interact with.

I don't like either of them at all. Don't like how goats look and Sherb is far from an exception. Don't like Dom's face much.

This one is a personal dilemma for me because:
1. I love lazy villagers ALOT and I don't care much for jock villagers
2. I love, love, LOVE the sheep villagers ><
3. Both of their designs scream soft to me

But, when it comes down to it-- I gotta go with Dom :') Not only is he actually on my island, but his expressions are fantastic and this sheep has my whole heart pretty much all of the sheep villagers do but that's beside the point

Initially I wasn’t interested in any of the new villagers, but then I came across Sherb on a mystery island and he won me over immediately. His colouring, those eyes. Omg. He might just be the cutest villager in the game. (Sorry Marshal, Rosie, Maple, etc...)

I like Dom too but I think his eyes are a bit creepy at times. He also doesn’t really suit the jock personality. But maybe that’s the charm?
