Separate Clothes Storage Please

IDK why I hoard clothes. I only wear like 3 outfits but a good chunk of my storage is clothes. I’ll probably move my clothes to one of my alts.

I agree 100%. My storage is full and it's literally all clothes. I made secondary characters to hold everything else because I just want to be able to keep as many clothes as possible for my main. I hate picking and choosing what to get rid of. I just want it all to be available to me.

What if you can check your dresser to change your clothes and every single clothing item you've ever catalogued is available to change into? But you don't have to actually have to have them physically? You can only access these clothes through the dresser, so your storage at home can be free to be used for other things like furniture and materials. You wouldn't have to keep any clothes physically unless gifting to a villager, or if you wanted to be able to change into something without having to access the dresser first. This has seriously been my dream feature since the release day.

I'd love to have either a storage upgrade or separate storage for clothes. I know we don't need all our clothes we buy, but I love collecting them anyways. Sometimes there would be outfits I want to make but I don't have because clothes are the first things I bin if I need space.

YESSSS I need this, I want to collect so many clothes and I find myself having to get rid of alot just to make room for everything else ;0; I would be all for seperate or even just more or unlimited storage space, it doesn't make sense why it's not possible!

I don't really mind the furniture, clothes, and items being lumped into one storage but I wish we had the option to buy more storage from Tom Nook 😩 especially since materials, tickets, etc can take up quite a bit of space

closets/bureaus/chest of drawers/etc should count as separate clothes storage container thingies. like they all access the same storage compartment for clothes but its not your house's storage. i think the same should apply for mats as well ugh never enough space for limited-time mats that you cant get out of season

I clean out my storage at least once a week now, yet I still manage to max it out. I've sold almost all of the spring/summer clothing, except for pieces that I may want to gift to villagers. It would be nice if each different wand could store eight different outfits, but alas, that is not how the mechanic works. Being able to purchase more storage space using Nook Miles/bells would be a fantastic nice-to-have.

I would love being able to have a separate wardrobe storage system, even using closets or something as the thing you keep all of your clothes in rather than them just being a way of looking at the clothes you already have in your house storage

Just for Gulliver's hats (cringe, where is the merlion?) alone, it's quite a scroll.

I'd get rid of that stuff but since hitting my storage limit a few weeks back, mostly crafting materials, I sacrificed most of my models. :(

We really do need a materials storage, like, make the NM items useful, so the Silo becomes a storehouse. :)

I can see when you may have a ton of clothes, then a separate storage would be nice, but for me right now, the storage I have is fine.

I think they should add a separate storage for materials though or at-least for pumpkins...

Yes that's a very good idea as well. I wouldn't mind it if there was a separate storage for materials. Because they could release a tool shed or something similar to it. Where we can store ore, wood, tools and other materials in it. Since materials does also take valuable storage space.

To add to my main post. The developers could add in the Tailors, a basement room. Where some crates are located at. You interact with the crates to store your clothes that you want to keep. And the Able Sisters would look after them for you, Whatever you had stored in the crates.

However there is another feature to the idea. The basement is fairly large. You talk to Mabel, in the tailors. She would give you a few options.

1. To buy more crates to store more clothes in. However it could also be use as a dump clothes storage place. So player visitors can take whatever you had placed in the crates, from them.
2. Unlocking the Dresser, Wardrobe etc storage system and upgrading the capacity to the highest amount.
3. Register clothes to the wardrobe storage system. So you don't need to buy the clothes again that you want to keep.
