Separate Clothes Storage Please

I really wish that the clothes was in a separate storage because I don't like having to sell my clothes that I've catalogued from the Tailors. And then re-ordering them again if I want to wear them. Just to free my storage space.

You know what? I was fine with combined storage at first, but I have so many clothes that I would love a feature like this. I have no idea how it would work to do it, but it would be magical!

It was easier in New Leaf when they added the "secret storage" and we still had our regular storage.

I agree. my storage is always full and most of it is clothes. I don’t want to get rid of anything though because I might want to wear it.

Let's be honest here: Do you really need every colour variation of every piece of clothing? Do you actually wear half the clothes you're hoarding?
Not trying to diss anyone, I just think it must be really annoying to run out of storage all the time, to the point that you need to make more characters. I feel like it would be easier to clear out unused stuff every once in a while.

Omigosh, yes! I totally agree. My mom loves all the clothing in the game and her storage is literally pages upon pages of clothes. There's just soo many good ones in this game, that it's hard to choose just a few only...

I might not wear everything I have myself, but it is super nice having options to give to my villagers when I want to. All of the clothes I've given to Merengue and Piper have been out of my closet.

yess I'd love for them to implement this. having a separate closet of sorts for clothes makes a lot more sense than having all items you own in the same storage ;;v;; storage space really is a huge problem in this game : (

I would love to have a separate storage for clothes. At first I thought it would be not bad to have them along with all the other stuff in one place, however, due to the fact that I have now so many clothes as well as accessories, it starts to kinda bother me. Not to mention how much space it takes away. Wouldn't have mind it if wardrobes would have been worked as a clothes/accessories storage only.

I would love separate storage for not just clothing. I am always running of space. I do go though and sell a bunch of things I have not used. It would just be easier to have separate storage for clothing and crafting materials.

I'm of this same opinion. I'm a minimalist in the real world, and I feel that transfers over to my virtual one, as well.

honestly my storage is probably more than half filled with just clothes, and i have done a lot of decluttering. i agree, separate clothing storage would be awesome

Separate storage with slots to save outfits, and the wand pulls clothes from that instead of storing the actual items in the wand, so you can still use them normally.

I wouldn't need to hoard so many clothes if I wasn't limited to ordering 5 items a day.

I don't mind if Nintendo lumps all things into one storage box. However, please make the capacity "unlimited."

I wonder if they did do a separate one if we would have decreased storage possibilities for the clothing.
I have thought about the clothing issue and how I am going to handle it. I think once I get everything cataloged that I would want to.. I may have to just reorder cloths when the season changes. Or get rid of the clothes I find myself not usually wearing.

I have even thought about making up outfits to throw on the wand depended on the season and weather but I feel that is a tad too limited. The wands do take the clothing out of storage though.. so I guess in a way that does somewhat help.

A SHED would be an amazing addition to expand storage since we have crafting materials to store...

I like having all my items accessible from one place as we have the option to view by category; however, when all items (materials, clothes, furniture, tools) are lumped into one total based on house size, it can be challenging. Thankfully haven't run into this issue recently as I only keep favorites now.

Having the ability to expand capacity slightly with Nook Miles like our pockets would be solid though.
