Selling your town to Nook?

Hi all,

So I'm just wondering about selling your town to Nook. I've never done it before but I've heard lots about it and I'm just curious.

Once you're talking to him, is there an option to go back (turning off your DS etc.) or are you locked into it for good?

Also, can you keep your catalogue?

i think it saves once u do it but he tells u the price and then asks if u want to or not

also if your tree isn't big enough he won't buy your town so be careful

This ^ is a good guide for selling your town. I think most people get nervous that once they sell their town they will be stuck with the first four maps rover gives you, but don't worry! You can even sell your town, run around in your new potential town, and then end game if you're not sure... your old town will still be there! I think it saves when you build your house, so you have some time to scope the map. If you're map resetting, it's a bit annoying because you have to go through the "selling town dialogue" every single time.

If you want to keep your catalogue, make sure to tell Nook that you don't want to sell your catalogue to him. If you click that option, you will have to start fresh. And no matter what, you always get your PWP list back.

I always thought selling your town was a scam to get you to delete your town as a kid!
