Bells

Does the little islander who buys stuff from you have any purpose? I mean, her prices are extremely low, so other than selling stuff when you don't have enough room to take it home, does she have any purpose?

I read that one guy tested it out, and her prices seemed to get higher the more he sold her a certain object. But my dad has been selling her dozens of the horned dynastid, and when he'd get 16,000+ at the mainland, she only gives 976.

So...I'm not sure.

She's mostly there to get rid of the garbage if you need room and don't want to go home lol. It's not meant to be there for profits. Can you imagine not having to leave the island to sell beetles? You can make an endless amount of bells in one night :P

I would NEVER leave the island >:D But I suppose that's why she's there... Sometimes I like to just see how low her prices go. I mean, a GOLDEN STAG is worth A LOT more than 300 bells!

edit:
oops didnt read the bottom part
i tried that with bananas and she didnt do anything (i stopped after 20)
idk if you tried really really hard and wasted enough bells you could maybe start making profit if you get her to sell it for like 50k a bug haha

but yeah i dont bother with her

If you keep selling her the same items more often, the price will increase little by little.

What I do if I have a little time left at the end of a tour is to pick some of the fruit and bring it back and sell it. I make around 12-20 bells, but is more than I would have made standing there waiting for the tour to end.
