Oh I should have explained....it's like....everyone draws a piece of art and everyone receives a piece art, but no one knows who it's from... of course, you can tell the person if you want to, but ya know

Yeah, I'd made sure an artist who spent time and effort on their piece got equal art >.>

I'd probably be interested in joining, but maybe we could have a rule about what we are expected to draw? Like, full body, half body, bust, sketch, etc. That way someone who drew a coloured full body wouldn't receive a quick sketch in return, lol.

tbh like... you cant really place artists based on skill level because then its directly saying "youre not as good as XYZ person" when art is VERY subjective to what each person likes.....i agree with amye.miller on that they have to have a rule on quality and effort but other then that its random

yeah i mean no offense but id rather not get a piece from someone who has never drawn in their life after i spend 3+ hours on my own.

Also my idea is that you see everyone who is down to drawing, and you make a list. Also the people that are down to drawing must give you a ref of a character they want to receive an art from

Then a person will pm you that they will take up random person and you will cross them out of the list so no one makes more art of that same character

I kinda agree on this. Like I wouldn't want to spend 2+ hours on something and receive something that looks like not on the same level or kinda unprofessional...

You still could though. The point of a Secret Santa is to make something nice for someone and from your heart. Its supposed to be a gift. As long as you put your all into it, which you can do, it does not matter who your gift goes to. Jint and ardrey for example (who I am a fan of both's style) could make something for each other but it doesn't have to just be limited to people who draw with as little or much detail as they do. You could make art for ardrey, ardrey could make art for kianli, kianli could make art for me, and I could make art for whoever else I feel like giving a gift to.

I just really think it should be up to the artist. Just do it out of the heart and for good will, to make a nice and memorable gift for someone.
