Secondary Character Question

If you move a secondary character from one town to another, do all their belongings and house (size) move with them or do they start as a new character (from scratch) in the new town?

I have moved. All your stuff comes with you! Even your bank bells. They still know you back in your old town too.

I never actually tried to transfer a character to another system. I'd say yes, but don't count on me, wait for other answers
